Chester

Long story short, Chester suffers from a fictionalized terminal illness called Enigma. Enigma is an incurable disease that attacks bodily tissues indiscriminately, affecting each person differently. For Chester, his internal organs seem to be the most affected, but exactly which organs are not specified. His major symptoms are coughing up blood, low energy levels/stamina, and mild to moderate hearing loss. As of his canon point, he has about one month left to live.

In Duplicity, his illness will be frozen, neither getting worse nor getting better.
